Mass General Imaging Chelsea opens new MRI and CT practice

Mass General Imaging Chelsea held a ribbon-cutting ceremony Feb. 20 to celebrate the grand opening of the newly expanded and relocated MRI and CT facility.

The community-based practice originally opened in January 1999 at 100 Everett Ave., providing Chelsea area residents with access to Mass General Radiology's world-class clinical expertise and state-of-the-art Computed Tomography (CT) technology in a convenient location, right across from the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center.

The spacious new facility is equipped with cutting edge MRI and CT scanners, with additional space on the premises for future expansion of services.

All MRI and CT exams performed at Mass General Imaging Chelsea are interpreted by MGH's team of world-renowned physicians, and all images and reports can be accessed by any MGH physician through a Partners computer workstation.

Parking is free, and appointments generally are available within 24 hours.
