Prayer service for the healing of AIDS
MGH Chaplaincy will host a special chapel service as part of Boston Black Churches Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS, March 6 at 12:15 pm in the MGH Chapel on Ellison 1. Participants will learn more about the ways the MGH is involved in AIDS work around the globe, hear live African-American music in the church tradition and join others in praying for the healing of AIDS. Raising Environmental Awareness League
Raising Environmental Awareness League (REAL), a newly formed environmental group at the MGH, is seeking new members. The next meeting is March 5, from 3:45 to 4:30 pm in the Blake 8 conference room. For more information, send e-mail to rhorr@partners.org.

EAP seminar
The Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will be offering a seminar about breastfeeding. "Nourishing Your Newborn" will be held March 5, from noon to 1 pm, in VBK room 401. For more information, call (617) 726-6976.

Friends Fighting Breast Cancer dinner dance
The sixth annual Friends Fighting Breast Cancer gala dinner dance in honor of Janet Connolly O'Neill, the group's co-founder, will be held March 15 at the Boston Copley Marriott Hotel. Tickets are $75 per person. All money from ticket sales will benefit ongoing breast cancer research at the MGH. Bloomingdale's shopping day
Bloomingdale's department store at Chestnut Hill and the MGH Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service will offer a shopping day to MGHers March 5. Tickets are $10 and entitle the shopper to discounts of 15 percent on nearly everything in the store. All money from the ticket sales will go directly to support Vincent research. Timilty Science Fair showcase
Students participating in the MGH/Timilty Partnership Science Fair Mentoring Program will display their posters in the ninth annual Science Connection Showcase March 4, from 9 to 11 am in the Main Corridor.
