Physicians from throughout the Partners HealthCare network recently gathered for the second annual Partners Physicians Day, held at the Sheraton Boston Hotel. Samuel O. Thier, MD, Partners president and chief executive officer, gave an update on recent Partners activities. Judah Folkman, MD, surgeon-in-chief emeritus and director of the Surgical Research Laboratories at Boston Children's Hospital, gave the keynote address, which focused on angiogenesis-dependent diseases.
