Minority
Women's Health Forum The first MGH Minority Women's Health Forum and Reception was held Feb. 25, in the Wellman Conference Room. Topics were specifically geared to minority women working at the MGH and ranged from stress, sexually transmitted diseases, parenting issues, menopause, hypertension and general lifestyle and health issues. Speakers included event organizer Laura Riley, MD, of MGH Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service; David Henderson, MD, of the MGH Psychotic Disorders Program; Anne Beal, MD, of the MassGeneral Hospital for Children; Nadine Thomas, MD, of Internal Medicine; Lorna Prince, RN, of Patient Care Services; Winfred Williams, MD, director of the MGH Multicultural Affairs Office; and Isaac Schiff, MD, chief of the MGH Vincent Obstetrics and Gynecology Service.
