With issues regarding patient safety grabbing recent headlines, hospitals and clinicians across the country are doing more to inform the general public about policies and programs put in place to ensure safe care for patients. As a result of these changes, health care institutions are recognizing National Patient Safety Awareness Week from March 10 to 16.
  • A celebration of culture: The African Diaspora
Diaspora is defined as "the scattering of people throughout the world." MGHers were treated to an exploration of the African Diaspora in the Main Lobby Feb. 28. The MGH Patient Care Services Diversity Committee offered a colorful and informative display, featuring tables devoted to the diversity of the seven continents.
