Eating and Weight Disorders symposium
The MGH Weight Center, the MGH Neuroendocrine Unit and the Harvard Eating Disorders Center will sponsor "An Integrated Approach to Eating and Weight Disorders: A Primer," March 23, 8:30 am to 1 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Financial counseling
One-on-one financial counseling sessions will be offered for MGH employees, March 15, 9 am to 3:30 pm in the Trustees Room. Consultants will answer questions about investment allocation, distribution options, retirement benefits, loans, mutual funds, IRAs and personal annuities. Longwood Symphony Orchestra concert
The Longwood Symphony Orchestra, "the orchestra of Boston's medical community," will present a concert at Jordan Hall, March 10, 8 pm to benefit the Dimock Community Health Center in Roxbury. The featured guest artist will be Richard Kogan, MD, a former member of the "Harvard Trio" with Lynn Chang and Yo-Yo Ma. For more information or to order tickets, call 332-7011.

Backup Child Care Center vacation camp
Reservations for the Backup Child Care Center's April School Age Vacation Club Camp will be taken by phone only, March 14, starting at 8 am. The program is offered to employees' children from kindergarten to 12 years old. Reservations will be taken only for the full vacation week session, and no part-time slots are available. The camp will be held 7:30 am to 6 pm, April 17 through 20, Warren Lobby, Suite 130. Full payment is due March 28. For more information or to make a reservation, contact the center at 724-8414.

Clinical Research Program session
The Clinical Research Program will sponsor "Developing Access Databases for Clinical Research," March 15, 9 am to 4 pm at the Partners Corporate Training Office, 185 Charles River Plaza. Susan Regan, PhD, of the MGH Medical Practices Evaluation Unit, will conduct the class, which is designated for intermediate-level users who are comfortable using Access. Class size is limited, and the course fee is $100. For more information, call 726-3310.

HOPES Program seminars
The MGH Cancer Center's HOPES (Helping Our Patients and Families through Education and Support) Program will offer several classes and sessions this month. Diane Heislein, MS, PT, OCS, will facilitate "Managing Lymphedema and Exercise," March 12, noon to 1 pm. Expressive arts therapist Elizabeth Cook will present "The Healing Power of Creative Expressions," March 13, 1 to 2 pm. Yoga instructor Luba Zagachin will facilitate a drop-in yoga class, March 15, noon to 1 pm. All events are held in the Cancer Resource Room on Cox 1. Seminars and drop-in classes are free, and no prior registration is required. For more information, call 724-1822 or 72-HOPES.
