Talk Is (Not) Cheap

Compassionate caregiving does not have to be a thing of the past — even in the hectic world of modern medicine. The Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO), the MGH Risk Management Foundation and the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center will jointly sponsor "Talk Is (Not) Cheap," a forum and workshop about meeting the challenges of delivering compassionate and competent care within the current pace of medical practice. The session will be held April 5, 4:30 to 7:15 pm at the Starr Center of the Schepens Eye Institute, 100 Charles River Plaza. Topics will include resolving patient symptoms, increasing patient and clinician satisfaction, reducing medico-legal risks, exploring the dynamics of difficult patient interactions and problem-solving sample cases. All clinicians are welcome, and the only fee is a $10 parking charge.
