EAP work/life seminar
The MGH Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will offer a Work/Life seminar "Nourishing Your Newborn" March 23, from noon to 1 pm in VBK, room 401. Germaine Lambergs, RN, an MGH lactation consultant, will present the latest information on breastfeeding. A tour of the Mother's Corner will be offered. CNY blood drive
MGH employees working at CNY are invited to participate in a blood drive March 24, from 8:30 am to 2 pm. The MGH Bloodmobile will be located on Thirteenth Street between Building 149 and the parking garage. Colorectal Cancer Awareness Day
The MGH Cancer Center will observe Colorectal Cancer Awareness Day March 24. An information table will be set up in the Main Corridor from 10 am to 2 pm. Information regarding early detection and prevention of colorectal cancer will be available. For more information, call (617) 724-9432.

Nursing Career Expo
MGH Patient Care Services Human Resources will host a Nursing Career Expo April 4, from noon to 3 pm in the North and East Garden Dining Rooms. Learn about staff nurse, clinical nurse specialist, nurse manager and surgical technologist opportunities at the MGH. 2004 MGH genetics and genomics seminar
As part of the 2004 MGH Genetics and Genomics Seminars for Clinical Investigators Series, the Clinical Research Program will sponsor "Using Genetics and Genomics in Psychiatry" March 26 at Psychiatry Grand Rounds, from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Ether Dome. Pamela Sklar, MD, PhD, associate director of the MGH Psychiatric and Neurodevelopmental Genetics Unit, will be the guest speaker. All MGH investigators and clinicians are invited to attend. Technologist and Allied Health Open House
The MGH will host a Technologist and Allied Health Open House March 27, from noon to 4 pm in the North and East Garden Dining Rooms. Job openings are available for pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, radiation therapists, as well as technologists in 3D, mammography, nuclear medicine and more. Partners International Office tax session
The Partners International Office is offering a tax information session for international employees April 5, from 1 to 4 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Take Our Children to Work Day
The MGH will celebrate Take Our Children to Work Day April 30, from 8 am to noon. This year's theme is "Today's Vision, Tomorrow's Reality." All main campus employees' children, from 9 to 15 years of age, are invited to participate. Employees must obtain approval from their supervisors or managers, and should be able to provide supervision throughout the day's activities. Registration forms may be obtained by visiting http://is.partners.org/hr/affiliates/mgh/TOCTWD04.htm or in the Human Resources offices on White 14, Clinics 114, Bulfinch 360 and 75 Blossom Court. All children must be registered by April 9.
