  • Children take center stage
    MassGeneral Hospital for Children staff always go the extra mile to provide the best available care to children. This week they went one step further to celebrate Children and Health Care Week, March 20 through 24, by hosting events about and geared toward children.
  • AMMP celebrates "Phenomenal Women"
    The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) recently celebrated Women's History Month with a program honoring women throughout the Partners HealthCare System and recognizing women in leadership roles.
  • Radiology goes robotic
    MGHers may be a bit surprised when they spot in the hallways their newest colleague: a robot. During the first week of April, the Department of Radiology will add a robot to its team to transport radiological films to Emergency Radiology and the Dodd Interpretation Area.
  • FYI: MGH resource guide to hospital ethics
    In an environment like the MGH, situations can arise that present challenging ethical dilemmas — often without straightforward, clear-cut solutions. The MGH Ethics Task Force is issuing an updated guide to inform MGHers about the many resources in the hospital that can help address these day-to-day ethical issues.
  • MGHer wins HR award
    Angela Hardie of MGH Human Resources was recently presented the 1999 Human Resources Partnership Award by Boston Mayor Thomas Menino at an employer appreciation breakfast held by The Work Place, a service organization that trains individuals re-entering the work force.
  • MGHer wins prestigious anesthesiology award
    Elliott V. Miller, MD, of MGH Anesthesiology, recently was awarded the Citation of Merit, the highest recognition of achievement among colleagues in the Academy of Anesthesiology.
