Teens become scientists for a day About a dozen teens with neurofibromatosis (NF) a genetic disorder which affects the skin and can cause developmental abnormalities recently enjoyed a day of activities with staff from MGH Neurology. National Day at the Lab is an initiative of the National Neurofibromatosis Foundation, an organization working to improve the lives of those with NF. Day at the Lab provides an opportunity for teenagers with NF to learn about the disease and have fun in the lab. MGHers Mia MacCollin, MD, and Bruce Korf, MD, PhD, organized the days activities.
