Special
delivery
When Ron and Robin LaGrassa left their Middleton home on the night of
April 3 to come to the MGH to have their second child, they had no idea
that labor would turn quickly into a roadside delivery far from the hospital.
Shortly after leaving the house, Robin LaGrassa's water broke, which accelerated
her labor, leaving little choice but to pull over and deliver the baby
in the parking lot of the Danvers State Police Barracks — assisted
by four Massachusetts state troopers
Right, the four troopers with Colby LaGrassa
at a press conference held at the MGH
Troopers Walter Kennan, Michael Forni, Ronald Baker and Anthony Schena,
who were all on duty when the LaGrassas pulled into the parking lot, assisted
Robin in bringing little Colby LaGrassa into the world. Mom, dad and baby
are all doing fine.
