Twice as nice: Patriots players visit MGH

For the second time this month, the MGH was host to team members of the Super Bowl Champion New England Patriots, who visited the hospital April 20. Fullback Patrick Pass, number 35, and running back Kevin Faulk, number 33, spent the afternoon visiting pediatric patients on Ellison 17 and 18 and the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. The players met with excited patients and parents, signing autographs, posing for pictures and ultimately bringing a little off-season cheer to the units. Later that day, the players spent time with MGHers in the East Garden Dining Room, chatting with employees and posing for photos.

"The visit from the players put smiles on the faces of patients and employees," says Bonnie Pray, of MGH Human Resources. "The children they spent time with probably will never forget the excitement and happiness of meeting the players just as MGHers were thrilled to have the opportunity to do the same. It was a great day."
