Can't
get enough of those Pats
"Patriots rock!" That was the reaction of one young patient
when three towering football players from the New England Patriots walked
into her room in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) April 27. Linebacker
Tully Banta-Cain, number 48, wide
receiver David Givens, number 87, and wide receiver Bethel Johnson, number
81, came to visit the PICU and Ellison 17 and 18 to sign autographs and
pose for pictures with young patients, parents and MGH staff. "It's
been great having the players here. It is such a morale booster,"
says Brenda Miller, RN, nurse manager for the PICU. The players also visited
two Orthopaedics floors, Ellison 6 and White 6.
