Greg Koski, MD, PhD, of MGH Anesthesia and the Institute of Health Policy, was selected as a new member of the American Academy of Pharmaceutical Physicians (AAPP) Board of Trustees. The AAPP is the only United States-based non-profit membership organization solely comprised of physicians working in the discovery, development and use of medical products.

Rakesh Jain, PhD, of MGH Radiation Oncology, recently was elected to the National Academy of Engineering (NAE). Election to the NAE is among the highest distinctions awarded to an engineer. Jain was elected for his integration of bioengineering with tumor biology, imaging gene expression and in vivo functions for drug delivery in tumors.

Nancy Rigotti, MD, of MGH Women's Health Associates, received the Outstanding Educator of the Year Award from the Association of Teachers of Preventive Medicine (ATPM). The ATPM is a national association dedicated to advancing population-based and public health education, research and service by linking and supporting members of the academic prevention community.
