In
memoriam Jacques Pierre, an employee of MGH Nutrition and Food Services at the Eat Street Café, died April 15 from serious injuries he sustained April 8 in a car accident on his way to work. Peirre was hired at the MGH in February 2001.
"Jacques was an excellent employee and was known by his co-workers
to be very kind, someone who always had a thoughtful word to share,"
says Lorraine Allan, RD, Pierre's manager. "Everyone referred to Jacques
as their friend. Those of us who worked with Jacques miss him very much.
His customers would frequently comment on the excellent service he provided
and his efficient manner in taking their orders."He leaves his wife Gina, a 16-month-old son, his mother in Haiti, as well as many relatives and friends. Those wishing to share condolences with the family may do so by writing messages in two books available in the Eat Street Café Office, located in the White Basement, Room 063. These will be given to his wife and mother. |
