  • Marathon Monday tragedy has happy ending
    Boston police officer Daniel Drew, 52, was in the right place at the right time when the worst possible event happened. He was working detail duty at the Boston Marathon April 16 when he suffered a severe heart attack that almost took his life. Fortunately, the marathon was well-staffed with emergency medical personnel along the sidelines. That fact worked in Drew's favor.
  • Trading schoolyards for timecards
    Visitors passing through the MGH April 26 may have had to pause abruptly for a double take. Across the main campus and CNY, tiny hands and big grins were hard at work as more than 200 children of MGH employees participated in Take Our Children To Work Day.
  • Job web site a wealth of opportunities
    The MGH has unveiled a newly designed job search web site.Focusing on the goal of recruiting qualified job candidates, the site allows prospective and current employees to access a comprehensive list of available positions and related information.
  • MGH acquires rights to local health club
    MGH employees are in the business of keeping others healthy, and soon they can stay fit and healthy themselves with the convenience of the Charles River Park Health and Fitness, Pool and Cabana Club, located just behind the hospital near Whittier Place. The MGH acquired the rights to the facility known as The Clubs at Charles River Park May 1.
