Clinical Information Systems Symposium
The MGH Clinical Advisory Group will host the first annual MGH Clinical Information Systems Symposium for physicians, nurses and health professionals May 12, from 9 am to 4:30 pm in Walcott 2 and 3. The symposium will feature exhibits and demonstrations, and experts will be available to answer questions. For more information, call (617) 724-9910.

National Women's Health Week
The Women's Health Coordinating Council (WHCC) will host a display table for National Women's Health Week May 14, from 9 am to 4 pm in the Main Corridor. Information about simple steps to enjoy a healthier life will be provided. The WHCC Patient/Clinician Education Committee will highlight ways to eat better, get moving, be smoke-free, get regular screening and exams. CNRC accepting applications
The Clinical Nutrition Research Center at Harvard Medical School now is accepting applications for new pilot/feasibility projects and renewals of currently funded one-year projects. Candidates must submit applications by May 16 to W. Allan Walker, MD, Clinical Nutrition Research Center, 114 16th St., Charlestown, MA 02129, or contact Suzette McCarron at (617) 726-4166.

MGH Revere road race and health fair
The MGH Revere HealthCare Center will hold its annual road race May 17 at 8:30 am along Revere Beach. Registration will begin at 7:15 am for the 5-mile race. All proceeds will benefit the MGH Revere Teen Center. The center also will host a 'fun run' for kids at 9:30 am, as well as a health fair with screenings, raffles and entertainment from 8:30 to 11:30 am. To register visit www.coolrunning.com. CNY blood drive

BioSecurity 2003 Workshops
Harvard Medical School, Harvard School of Public Health and Harvard Medical International are sponsoring "BioSecurity 2003 Workshops: Preparation and Response to Civilian Disasters Stemming from Biological, Chemical or Nuclear Events" May 12, from 9:30 am to 3 pm at the Harvard Club, 374 Commonwealth Ave. Susan Briggs, MD, an MGH surgeon and supervising medical officer of the federal disaster teams, will moderate.
