Under the sea

Surrounded by whales, fish and dolphins, Alan Ezekowitz, MBChB, DPhil, chief of Pediatrics for MassGeneral Hospital for Children, unveiled recently finished murals that are part of the Pediatric Artistic Renovation Project May 13. The murals portray life under the sea, decorating all of Ellison 17 with underwater images.

Painted by local artist Linda Carnegie, the murals were funded by proceeds from the 2000 Storybook Ball, an annual fundraiser for MassGeneral Hospital for Children. Ezekowitz then presented to the Storybook Ball Committee a plaque, which acknowledges the work they did for this project. Following the presentation, Ezekowitz led the committee on a tour of Ellison 17 and visited with several pediatric patients.
