Reception for women faculty
The MGH Office for Women's Careers will host its sixth annual reception for women faculty May 29, from 4 to 5:30 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. For more information, contact Rebecca Starr at (617) 724-3693.

Women's health night
The MGH community health centers will host the third annual women's health night "Celebrating Women: Living a Vibrant, Healthy Life" May 29, from 5 to 8 pm at CNY, Building 149. Mallika Marshall, MD, WBZ-TV, Channel 4 medical consultant, MGH physician and keynote speaker, along with other women's health experts, will present various topics from exercise and nutrition to diabetes and menopause. Genetics and clinical research presentation
Partners Research Administration and the Clinical Research Program are sponsoring "Genetics in Clinical Research: Points to Consider" May 29, from 4 to 5 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Topics will include genetic testing and research, return of research results, consent of family members and DNA and tissue banking. Ascension Thursday mass

Support group for families
An ongoing support group for family members of patients at the MGH will meet the first and third Tuesday of each month from 2:30 to 3:30 pm in the White 7 Conference Room. For more information, contact Shelley Hartnett at (617) 726-7680 or Shoshana Savitz at (617) 726-2628.

Reference guide to Outlook 2000
Partners Information Systems Training is offering the "Reference Guide to Microsoft Outlook 2000" to employees upon request. Multiple copies also are available for distribution to departmental staff. AMMP scholarship applications
The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) now is accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. Current employees of the MGH, Partners and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital are eligible to compete for awards of up to $1,000 each for the fall 2003 and spring 2004 semesters. The deadline is Aug. 15. Scholarship recipients will be announced Sept. 1 and recognized at the AMMP Scholarship and Recognition Luncheon Sept. 18. Cancellation of children's events
The MGH Children's Health Fair and MGH Take Our Children to Work Day activities that were scheduled for May 30 have been cancelled. Both events are expected to take place at their regularly scheduled times next year.
