The MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center hosted the third annual "Safety on Wheels" bike, inline skate and skateboard safety event, June 3 at the health center. Nearly 250 children came to learn about safety, participate in a road course, see a magician, enjoy free ice cream provided by Hood Dairy and have a chance to win a bicycle or a pair of inline skates with all of the recommended safety equipment. The health center also supplied 200 helmets as giveaways to participants. "This is the best event we've had so far," said Jeannette McWilliams, administrative director of the MGH Chelsea HealthCare Center. "With more than 50 staff volunteers helping out this year, it is no surprise that this event was such a success."
