MGHers graduate from coding program

The first graduating class of the Partners Medical Coding Program received certificates June 20 at a special ceremony for MGH, BWH and Partners employees who completed the two-year course of study. Of the 15 graduates, eight are MGHers. Called Partners Coding College, the educational program is sponsored by MGH and BWH Human Resources and Health Information Services 070601Partners_Coding.jpg (21902 bytes)and is a collaboration with Northeastern University's Medical/Clinical Coding Certificate Program.

The program, funded by the US Department of Labor, offers any Partners employee the opportunity to advance to more skilled positions.
