Annuity fairs and financial planning workshops
The Partners Benefits Office will host two tax-sheltered annuity fairs July 29, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, at CNY Building 149 in the Research Affairs Conference Room, and July 30, from 7:30 am to 4 pm, in the Wellman Conference Room. Representatives from Fidelity, TIAA-CREF and Vanguard will be available to answer questions. There also will be a financial planning workshop July 28 at noon in the O'Keeffe Auditorium and July 31 at noon, at CNY Building 149 in the seventh floor auditorium. School-age Vacation Club
The MGH Backup Child Care Center will offer two School-age Vacation Club sessions in August. The first session will run from Aug. 18 to 22, and the second will run from Aug. 25 to 29. All employees' children, from kindergarten completion to
12 years of age, are eligible to participate in the program. Activities will include a tour of Fenway Park and swimming lessons at the Clubs at Charles River Park. Reservations for full-time enrollment currently are being accepted. Part-time enrollment will begin July 21. Full-time enrollment is $275 per week, and part-time enrollment is $60 a day. Senior HealthWISE seminar
The MGH Senior HealthWISE education seminar program will offer "Can You Hear Me Now? How to Keep Your Voice in Health Care Decision Making" July 28, from 4 to 5 pm in the East Garden Dining Room. Members of the MGH Ethics in Clinical Practice Committee will focus on advanced directives and health care proxies. For more information, call (617) 724-6756.

Clinical Research Program training seminar
The Clinical Research Program is sponsoring "Conducting FDA-Regulated Research" July 23 from 8 am to 5 pm in the Wellman 101 Conference Room. Marianne Dyke, education manager for the Center for Clinical Investigation at BWH, will focus on the basic duties of research nurses/coordinators involved in investigational drug or device studies. CEUs will be awarded to registered nurses.

AMMP scholarship deadline
The AMMP scholarship application deadline is Aug. 15. Current employees of Partners, MGH and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital are eligible to compete for the 2003 academic year. Bone marrow donor drive
The MGH Bone Marrow Transplant Program, in conjunction with physician assistant students at Northeastern University, will hold a bone marrow donor drive July 25, from 10 am to 3 pm in the Main Corridor for anyone who would like to become part of the National Marrow Donor Program's donor list.
