They're there when you need them

With a comprehensive security plan in place, MGH Police and Security staff —
working closely with local and state police — spent the week during the Democratic National Convention (DNC) ensuring that security on and around campus remained tight and vigilant.

MGH Police and Security supervisory staff members also were asked to participate in the activities of the Multi-Agency Command Center (MACC) that served as the security command center for the Boston area during the DNC. The hospital had hourly contact with the MGH staff to receive first-hand security information.
