Registration for the coder development program
Partners Corporate Training and Northeastern University are holding registration for fall courses related to the new Clinical/Medical Coding Certificate Program at Northeastern University. Registration will take place in the main corridor next to Coffee Central Sept. 9, 3:30 to 6 pm. The courses offered this fall are Anatomy and Physiology and Medical Terminology. Primary Care website
The MGH primary care physicians and practices have created a website to allow Internet users to learn more about their services. The primary care homepage can be accessed at www.massgeneral.org/primarycare. MGHers will soon be able to choose a physician or make appointments through the website. Spaulding offers course for nurses
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital will offer a 12-week course, "Rehabilitation
Nursing: Process and Principles," this fall. The course is designed to provide a strong foundation for nurses who specialize in rehabilitation. Participants will learn how to prepare for the Certification Examination in Rehabilitation Nursing. Classes will meet Tuesday evenings, Sept. 14 to Nov. 30, 4 to 6 pm, at Spaulding,

Cancer Center programs
The Cancer Center Patient and Family Support Program will offer a seminar, "A Patient's Perspective on the Workplace During and After Treatment" Aug. 10, noon to 1 pm. Another seminar, "Exercise Before and After Treatment," will be held Aug. 12, noon to 1 pm. Both seminars will be in the Cancer Resource Room on Cox 1. For more information, call 4-1822.

Coordinator seminar series
The Clinical Research Program is hosting an information session presented by Corporate Sponsored Research & Licensing (CSRL) Aug. 26, 11:45 am to 1 pm in the Wellman 101 conference room. Jacky Guthrie and Elizabeth Dana will discuss the role of CSRL in the startup of industry-funded clinical trials. Lunch will be provided. To register, call 6-1669.

Treadwell Library class
The Treadwell Library will offer a class providing a user-friendly way to search the Medline database using Ovid, Aug. 11 at 11 am in the Treadwell Library conference room. To sign up for the session or to request an individual or group session, call 6-8600.

MGH Cancer Center symposium
The MGH Cancer Center will present a symposium, Developmental Biology and Cancer, sponsored by the Massachusetts Biomedical Research Corporation,

Open house for Founders MRI
There will be an open house for the two new MRI scanners located on the first floor of Founders House, Room 138, Aug. 11, 1 to 3 pm. MGHers are encouraged to tour the facilities, get information on new scheduling options and have refreshments.
