Warm welcome for new
minority house staff

Each summer, James J. Mongan, MD, president of the MGH, hosts a reception to welcome incoming minority house staff. The event is a part of the hospital's commitment to support new physicians of color who begin their careers at the MGH.

The MGH Multicultural Affairs Office (MAO) provides support for minority physicians at the hospital, while improving recruiting efforts and developing comprehensive programs ranging from secondary school outreach to post-residency faculty development.
