"FYI"
campaign returns to the MGH The MGH is reintroducing its "FYI" campaign to help keep MGH staff and employees apprised of important information related to working within the hospital community. The campaign will start with a series of FYI posters reminding MGHers to wear their ID badges. The FYI campaign was introduced to the MGH in 1997 to disseminate information in preparation for the survey of the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Health Care Organizations (JCAHO). That same year, the hospital received its highest rating ever from the JCAHO. "The FYI campaign really helped us to reinforce key messages, such as patient confidentiality, disaster planning and continuous staff improvement initiatives," says Maryanne Spicer, director of Corporate Compliance and chair of the JCAHO steering committee at the MGH. "We hope to continue this effort to help keep employees informed and educated about their vital roles in providing the best for our patients." |
