Schwartz Center rounds
All MGH caregivers are invited to the Kenneth B. Schwartz Center Rounds Aug. 27, noon to 1 pm, in the Walcott Conference Room. The topic of this month's rounds is "Are We Connecting with Our Patients or Are We Too Damn Busy?" Lunch will be served starting at 11:45 am. To register, call 4-6862.

English and GED preparation classes available
The MGH and Jewish Vocational Service's Workplace Education Program are sponsoring several adult education classes beginning in September. Registration for GED preparation, English as a Second Language and Reading and Writing in English classes will take place Aug. 23 through 25, 10 am to 4 pm, at the Partners Training Center, 185 Charles River Plaza, second floor. New pre-GED students will be asked to take a GED assessment test. For more information, call Jim Ward at 4-3976.

Golf tournament to benefit Angel Fund
The second annual Angel Fund Golf Tournament will be held Sept. 20 at the Heather Hill Country Club in Plainville, Mass. Cost is $75 per golfer and includes lunch. Proceeds benefit the Angel Fund at the MGH, which provides money for Lou Gehrig's disease (ALS) research.
