To help patients, visitors and fellow MGHers identify MGH employees, and to comply with state law, hospital regulations and the guidelines set by the Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO), the Department of Police and Security reminds all employees to wear their photo ID badges. All employees also should wear the red cards issued with their ID badges, which include emergency information.

Employees who need a photo ID may visit the photo ID office, located in the Clinics Basement, between 8 am and 4 pm daily. Bulk supplies of red cards and ID badge chains also may be ordered. To order supplies, call Debbie Routhier at 724-4337.
