  • From humble beginnings: MGH Charlestown celebrates 35 years
    What began as a small program to help meet the health care needs of neighborhood children in Charlestown, now is a full-service health center that has been a national model for how community health care can work. As MGH Charlestown formerly known as the Bunker Hill Community Health Center celebrates 35 years of service to Charlestown residents Sept. 24, Hotline takes a look back at the center's creation.
  • Patriots kick off: MGHers raise money through silent auction
    It has been an exciting couple of weeks around the hospital for New England Patriots fans. First, the home team won its first game of the season against the Indianapolis Colts, and then MGHers had the opportunity to bid on authentic, autographed Patriots merchandise during three separate week-long silent auctions.
  • At your service: Materials Management celebrates new Customer Service Center
    Whether it's taking supply orders, delivering extra linens, providing equipment or any one of the other services the MGH Materials Management Department offers, the department is accustomed to meeting the service needs of the MGH community. Now Materials Management has streamlined these efforts with a specialized Customer Service Center.
  • MGHers rise to the blood donor challenge
    The annual blood donor challenge between the MGH and BWH has come to an end and the MGH Team which includes the MGH, the MGH health centers, Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Shriners Burns Institute, some Partners employees and Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital has emerged the winner.
  • MGH recognizes third anniversary of Sept. 11
    In the three years since the tragedy of Sept. 11, 2001, there have been many remembrances created books written, songs sung, monuments built. On the third anniversary of that tragic day when the nation lost so many, MGHers gathered to remember, grieve and recognize that historic day.
