MGH Revere opens new unit

MGH Revere HealthCare Center celebrated the grand opening of its new Physical and Occupation Therapy Unit Sept. 8.

Roger Pasinski, MD, medical director of MGH Revere, and Debra Jacobson, administrative director of the health center, introduced special guests Peter L. Slavin, MD, president of the MGH; Jeanette Ives Erickson, RN, MS, senior vice president for Patient Care Services and chief nurse; Gregg Meyer, MD, medical director of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization; and Michael Sullivan, PT, director of the MGH Physical and Occupation Therapy Unit.

This state-of-the-art unit also offers a calming view of the ocean to aid in the rehabilitation of patients.
