MGHers showed tremendous support for the American Hospital Association’s "Hospital Caregivers for BBA Relief" campaign by sending more than 2,300 postcards to the nation’s capital last week.

The postcards were pre-printed with a message from caregivers to congressional leaders urging the restoration of Medicare funding for hospitals.

"We were very pleased with our employees’ response to the postcard campaign," says James J. Mongan, MD, president of the MGH. "We should all be concerned about the impact the BBA has had on our ability to provide the best patient care possible."
