  • MGPO names Slavin to top position
    The Board of Trustees of the Massachusetts General Physicians Organization (MGPO) named Peter L. Slavin, MD, to the position of CEO and chair, Sept. 17. Slavin will succeed W. Gerald Austen, MD, who is retiring from the position, and will start in November.
  • Blood pressure: less is more
    The Massachusetts General Physicians Organization held a blood pressure screening drive to promote general awareness of healthy blood pressure.
  • MGHers support BBA relief
    MGHers showed tremendous support for the American Hospital Association’s "Hospital Caregivers for BBA Relief" campaign by sending more than 2,300 postcards to the nation’s capital last week.
  • "Excuse me, do you work here?"
    MGHers are reminded to wear their ID badges while on duty at the hospital. Not only is wearing ID badges a hospital policy, but it is important for a variety of reasons.
