The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) honored its members Sept. 21 at an awards luncheon. "This has been an exciting year, getting to meet more and more individuals at the MGH," said Ronnie Greene, RN, of MGH Case Management and chair of AMMP. "The members of AMMP are the ambassadors to the MGH and BWH. With their help, our efforts to increase diversity among Partners staff have become more visible."

Awards were presented to several members of AMMP for their work on different committees, including nomination of new leaders, membership, diversity advisory, scholarship and public relations. Deborah Washington, RN, of MGH Patient Care Services, was a special honoree for her dedication to diversity at the MGH.

AMMP's greatest honor, the Monumental Award, was given to Wanda Velazquez of MGH Community Benefits for her devotion to AMMP and her participation in several committees over the past two years.
