AMMP recognizes excellence through leadership

The Association of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) held its annual scholarship and recognition ceremony Sept. 18 in the Walcott Conference Room. Six MGHers were awarded with scholarships. Jennifer Kim of Partners Research and Ventures, Steven Hernandez of MGH Pharmacy, LaNeia Mahaffey of MGH General Clinical Research Center, and Jacqueline McNeil of MGH Institute for Health Policy, were the recipients of $1,000 scholarships. Ileana Arocho of MGH Interpreter Services and Judith Voufo of Patient Care Services were awarded $500 scholarships. Several other employees received recognition for their work with AMMP, including Jacqueline Dejean of MGH Radiology, who was named Member of the Year, and Wanda Velazquez of MGH Community Benefits, who was named E-board Member of the Year.
