Ether Day celebration

Ether Day will be celebrated at the MGH Oct.10, from 2 to 3:30 pm under the Bulfinch Tent. During this special celebration, employees will be recognized for their length of service. All MGH employees and staff are welcome to attend. An invitation-only dinner for MGHers who have served at the hospital for 20 years or more will be held Oct. 16 at the Boston Marriott Long Wharf Hotel.

Ether Day pins, which mark the years of service beginning with the five-year anniversary, will be distributed to administrative department heads this week, and Ether Day flowers will be distributed to departments the morning of Oct. 10. Flowers and pins for physicians will be delivered to their department heads unless unassigned, in which case, they will be delivered to the chiefs of service.
