  • MGH Charlestown celebrates 35th anniversary
    The MGH Charlestown HealthCare Center celebrated its 35th anniversary Sept. 24 , with Boston Mayor Thomas M. Menino making a special appearance to thank caregivers, staff and community partners for their dedication to improving the health of the neighborhood.
  • A send-off to the Sudan
    Katie Fallon, RN, of Ellison 20, was sent off in style Oct. 1 when her colleagues gave her a bon voyage breakfast to celebrate her upcoming departure to Darfur, a region of Sudan.
  • MGH celebrates Kidney Care Day
    MGH celebrates Kidney Care Day L aughter filled the O'Keeffe Auditorium as Loretta LaRoche, a nationally known speaker, captivated the audience with her talk on "The Humorous Side of Coping with Chronic Illness"as part of the first annual MGH Kidney Care Day held Sept. 30.
  • Celebrating exceptional service
    The annual Ether Day celebration is a special recognition held in October on the Friday closest to the anniversary of the first use of ether as an anesthetic, which took place at the MGH Oct. 16, 1846.
