- Partners opens new research facility
The first Partners
HealthCare research facility to house scientists from both the MGH and BWH officially was
opened Oct. 11. The new five-story, 123,000 square-foot building is located at 65
Lansdowne St. in Cambridge, at University Park near the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Way campaign kicks off Oct. 25
The 2001 United Way campaign will kick off Oct. 25. MGH employees will receive
pledge cards with their paychecks at that time. MGHers who donate will be eligible for
dozens of raffle prizes, and all surplus funds raised above the campaign goal will assist
MGH Social Services in providing extra care to patients and families in
need.
