The individual recipients were Mary Ellen Maguire, Katie Young, Rona Cavallaro, Sharon Burke, Jerrell Williams, Dixierell Rodriguez, Iraida Gonzalez, Arthur Foubert, Pearlie Traylor, Elizabeth Gilroy and Arline Whyel. In addition, Michelle Picard, RN, Janice Mckinnon-Heavey, RN, Barbara Fee, ANP, Pat Olsen, Nancy Sceery, Colleen Fritz and Lisa O'Connor were recognized for their teamwork in the Nutritional Support Unit. Each recipient received a certificate, a small gift and a STAR t-shirt.

Doroni also read a letter from Andrew Warshaw, MD, MGH surgeon-in-chief, congratulating and thanking the STAR recipients for the work they do.
