  • United Way campaign extended
    THe MGH United Way campaign will be extended so that MGHers can make donations through Dec. 29. More than $160,000 had been pledged to the campaign during October and November.
  • Safety tips for seniors
    John Driscoll from MGH Police and Security spoke with local senior citizens Nov. 15 about basic safety and prevention guidelines. The seminar was sponsored by the MGH Senior Supper Club, a program sponsored by MGH Senior Health and MGH Nutrition and Food Services.
  • A gift of $20 million creates joint imaging center
    A $20 million gift given by a Greek shipping family has established the Massachusetts General Hospital/Massachusetts Institute of Technology Athinoula A. Martinos Center for Functional and Structural Biomedical Imaging, which will be directed by Bruce Rosen, MD, PhD.
  • Holiday celebrations begin
    The spirit of the holiday season soon will descent on the MGH with many celebrations among departments, the Patient Care Services' presentation of "Holidays around the World."
