Senior HealthWISE seminar
The MGH Senior HealthWISE program will offer "Healthy Cooking for One on a Budget" Dec. 9, from 11 am to noon in the Walcott Conference Room. Dana Brennan, RD, LD, of MGH Nutrition Services, will share easy meal ideas, the 12 foods needed in a healthy diet and tips for nutritious grocery shopping on a budget. CRP seminar
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) and the MGH Safety Office are sponsoring hazardous material training for clinical research personnel Dec. 10, from noon to 1:30 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. This class is valid for both initial and biannual training. Registration is required. Acromegaly Patient Day

Ethics forum
The MGH Ethics Task Force will sponsor "Sperm Retrieval from the Patient Who Cannot Speak on His Own Behalf: Legal and Ethical Considerations" Dec. 12, from noon to 1 pm in the MGH Sweet Conference Room on the fourth floor of the Gray Building. Pablo Gomery, MD, of MGH Urology; Carolyn Wood, JD, of Partners Office of the General Counsel; and David Steinberg, MD, chair of the Ethics Committee at Lahey Clinic, will be the guest speakers. Spanish for Health Care
Registration for the winter session of the MGH Spanish for Health Care course will take place Dec. 11 and 12, from 11:30 to 2 pm outside the East Garden Dining Room. Beginner 2 through Intermediate 2 classes will be offered. Classes meet either Tuesday or Thursday evenings Jan. 13 through March 18, 2004. An intermediate class will meet at MGH Chelsea on Wednesday evenings. Classes are limited to 22 people. The 10-week session is $50, and payment by check or money order is due at registration. Nursing career program
The MGH Nursing Career Coaching Program will host "Financing Your Nursing Education" Dec. 10, from 11 am to noon in the Haber Conference Room.
