Program offered for clinical research education

120800clinicalResearch.jpg (5599 bytes)All MGH and Partners employees involved in human-subject research are required to sign a statement of commitment to human subject protection and take a test to confirm their familiarity with regulations by Dec. 31. This is in response to a recent mandate by the National Institutes of Health, which requires institutions to educate researchers and staff properly about the protection of human subjects.

The Partners Human Research Committee and the MGH Clinical Research Program are co-sponsoring an overview session explaining the documents that comprise the core requirements for education, as well as the quiz and commitment letter. This session will be offered Dec. 12 and 14, 4 to 5 pm, in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. Attendance at this session is voluntary. The core requirements, quiz and commitment letter are available at: http://healthcare.partners.org/hrcedweb/.
