Partners Information Systems has released the winter Computer Workshop training schedule
for Microsoft Office applications. Classes are held at Corporate Training, Charles River

holiday services
The MGH Chaplaincy will be hosting the following holiday services: "An Ecumenical
Christmas Service of Lessons and Carols," Dec. 21, 12:15 pm, MGH Chapel, Ellison 1;
regularly scheduled Roman Catholic masses Dec. 24, 25, 31 and Jan. 1, 4 pm, MGH Chapel;
Episcopal service featuring seasonal music, prayer and holy communion, Dec. 25, 2 pm, MGH
Chapel; "The Muslim Feast of the Breaking of the Fast of Ramadan," Dec. 27, 7:30
am in the MGH Masjid on Founders 109.
MGH holiday party
The last of three holiday parties for MGHers will be
held Dec. 19, 1 to 3 pm in the WACC Lobby. The holiday parties are hosted by James J.
Mongan, MD, president of the MGH.
MGH Photography
holiday open house
The MGH Photography Department, located in the
Bulfinch basement, will host a holiday open house Dec. 19, 20 and 21, from 9 to 11 am.
MGHers are welcome to discuss their photography needs with staff and enjoy holiday
refreshments. A raffle for free developing will be offered as well as information about a
20 percent discount on custom framing for orders taken in January.
MGH holiday songfest
The MGH Chaplaincy Department will host the annual
MGH holiday songfest Dec. 20, noon to 1 pm in the Main Corridor. Patients, families, staff
and visitors are welcome to participate.
HOPES seminars
The MGH HOPES (Helping Our Patients and Families
through Education and Support) program will offer "Got the flu? What to do,"
facilitated by Regina Holdstock, RPh, noon to 1 pm. "Men Living with Cancer: A
Discussion," facilitated by Jeff Mello, MSW, will be held Dec. 20, noon to 1 pm.
"Bone Marrow and Stem Cell Transplants: A Discussion," facilitated by Cathleen
Poliquin, MSN, NP, will be held Dec. 21, 1 to 2 pm. All seminars are held in the Cancer
Resource Room on Cox 1. Seminars are free, and no registration is required. For more
