MGH health centers celebrate health information website

During the past three years, more than 1,000 Chelsea, Revere, Charlestown and Everett residents have learned about ARCH - an MGH Internet website designed to help people access accurate, reliable health information without having to wade through thousands of pages of information. For many senior citizens, ARCH has provided a chance to learn to use a computer and the Internet for the first time.

The ARCH web site is accessible through home computers or a computer lab at MGH Revere, which is open to the public. Staff from the health center are available to teach area residents how to use the ARCH website.

For more information, call (781) 485-6477 or send e-mail to ARCH@partners.org To log on, visit www.mgh.harvard.edu/library/arch/arch.asp

ARCH "Surf Club" members from the Chelsea Senior Center and the Jack Satter House in Revere joined Ming Sun, Anne Richmond and Roger Pasinski, MD, of MGH Revere, and Mayor Thomas Ambrosino at the third anniversary celebration of ARCH.
