Santa's beard and the first hints of December snow outside were far from the onlythings sparkling Dec. 11. Visitors from the New England chapter of the Starlight Children's Foundation brought some holiday spirit to MassGeneral Hospital for Children patients on Ellison 17 and 18. The party included photo opportunities with Santa and an array of gloriously wrapped gifts and goodies.

The foundation provides entertainment programs and services for seriously, chronically and terminally ill children worldwide. Santa's visit was one of many seasonal celebrations meant to bring good cheer to MGH pediatric patients who are spending the holidays in the hospital.
