of the MGH-Partners Institute for Health Policy The MGH and Partners HealthCare System recently launched
an institute that is dedicated to conducting world-class research into policy issues that

Rock 'n' roll gift
to the MGH Burn Service The rock band Aerosmith has made a gift of $10,000 to the
MGH Burn Service on behalf of their drummer Joey Kramer, who was treated at the hospital
in September after being burned in a gasoline fire.

celebration Fredric Frigoletto, MD, chief of the MGH Vincent
Obstetrics Division, accepted a portrait of Charles Montraville Green on behalf of the MGH
Vincent Gynecology and Obstetrics Service at a ceremony honoring the Green family, who
established the professorship.

telecommunications To help balance the FY'99 budget, hospital management has
been focusing on streamlining several areas throughout the hospital, including, most
recently, MGH telecommunications services.

some Thanksgiving cheer to Ellison 18 Nov. 24 as they shared the special day with MGH
pediatric patients.
