  • Rock 'n' roll gift to the MGH Burn Service
    The rock band Aerosmith has made a gift of $10,000 to the MGH Burn Service on behalf of their drummer Joey Kramer, who was treated at the hospital in September after being burned in a gasoline fire.
  • MGH Vincent celebration
    Fredric Frigoletto, MD, chief of the MGH Vincent Obstetrics Division, accepted a portrait of Charles Montraville Green on behalf of the MGH Vincent Gynecology and Obstetrics Service at a ceremony honoring the Green family, who established the professorship.
  • Streamlining telecommunications
    To help balance the FY'99 budget, hospital management has been focusing on streamlining several areas throughout the hospital, including, most recently, MGH telecommunications services.
  • Last week for United Way raffle
    The deadline for submitting United Way pledge cards to be eligible for the final raffle drawing is Dec. 10. Pledge cards will be accepted until Dec. 31.
