  • MGH team helps child battle rare condition
    At 18 months, Chelsea Heath was diagnosed with cystinosis, a condition caused when cystine, an amino acid, accumulates in the body's cells and forms crystals. A team of MGH specialists work together to treat the disease.
  • Gearing up for Children and HealthCare Week
    The MGH will celebrate National Children and HealthCare Week March 15 to 19, a week long series of events featuring a variety of programs and activities that focus on child and adolescent health.
  • Opening of the MGH Weight Center
    In America, obesity affects one-third of all adults and one-fifth of children and adolescents. To better understand and treat obesity, the MGH Weight Center recently was established as a joint effort of the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics and Psychiatry.
