  • Dedicated to child care
    MGHers gathered for the official dedication of the new Backup Child Care Center Oct. 21. Located off the Warren Lobby, the center is for children of MGH employees who need a place to go when regular child care arrangements are unavailable.
  • Celebrating Physical Therapy Month in October
    Numbering more than 60, Physical Therapy staff members can be found in just about every corner of the MGH in both inpatient and outpatient settings and specialty care areas such as orthopedics, neurology, pediatrics and cardiopulmonary.
  • Open enrollment period approaches
    The open enrollment period begins Nov. 2, giving MGH and Partners employees the opportunity to review benefit choices and make changes if desired.
  • North Shore has new president
    The North Shore Medical Center (NSMC) recently appointed Alexander Movahed as president and chief executive officer of the Partners-affiliated institution.
  • Kickoff nurse recruitment campaign
    Meet Rischa Mayes, RN, of the General Surgery and Trauma Unit. She is one of several nurses who are sharing their experiences at the MGH for a nurse recruitment and image campaign, which was launched Oct. 27.
  • DeSanctis awarded professorship
    Roman DeSanctis, MD, of MGH Cardiology has been named the first incumbent of the Evelyn and James Jenks/Paul Dudley White Professorship in Medicine at Harvard Medical School.
