Martin Luther
King day event
The Association
of Multicultural Members of Partners (AMMP) will sponsor "Living
the Dream: A Tribute to the Life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr."
Jan. 14, from 8 to 9 am in the East Garden Dining Room. The event will
feature musical performances by Athene Wilson-Glover and Rollins Ross
and personal reflections from MGH employees. For more information, call

Domestic violence support group
The Employee Assistance
Program (EAP) will offer a 10-week domestic violence education and
support group for female employees who have been affected by domestic
violence in past or current relationships. The first meeting will be held
Jan. 20, from 4:30 to 6 pm. The group is free and confidential and open
to all female employees. For more information and the location of the

Smoking cessation group
The EAP will
sponsor a six-week smoking cessation group facilitated by the MGH Quit
Smoking Service. The group will meet Tuesdays beginning Jan. 18, from
noon to 1 pm at 175 Cambridge St., Suite 320. The cost is $10 per week.
Topics will include preparation for quitting, stress management techniques
and preventing weight gain. Registration is required. To register, call

CRP seminar
The Clinical Research
Program (CRP) will host a seminar "Research Billing After PACE"
Jan. 12, from noon to 1 pm in the Wellman Conference Room. This program
will contain vital information for any study staff members who order lab
tests and/or radiology procedures for research studies. Speakers include
Cynthia Howlett-Willis of Partners Finance, Jamien Richardson of MGH Radiology,
and Karen Walsh of the MGH Registration and Referral Center. To register,

Partners Physicians Day
The sixth annual Partners Physicians Day will be held Feb. 12 at the Marriott
Copley Hotel. All Partners physicians are invited to attend. The deadline
for registration is Jan. 19. Registration forms also can be brought to
the on-site registration desk the day of the program, but certain topics
may not be available depending on the number of registrants. For more

Nursing Career Expo
MGH Patient Care Services Human
Resources will host a Nursing Career Expo Jan. 23, from noon to 3 pm in
the North and East Garden Dining Rooms. Learn about and interview for
staff nurse (new graduates and experienced), clinical nurse specialist,
nurse manager and nurse project manager opportunities. For more information,
