Crowley, MD, receives honor
William
F. Crowley, MD, (right) chief of the MGH
Reproductive Endocrine Unit and director of the Clinical
Research Program (CRP), recently received the Fred Conrad Koch Medal.
This award is the highest honor given by the Endocrine Society in recognition
of exceptional contributions to endocrinology.
Crowley, a leader in endocrinology, has been director of CRP at the MGH
since 1996 and has highlighted the need for increased support for translational
research. Crowley also has served as chairman of the annual meeting steering
committee of the Endocrine Society and chairman and then president of
the professional affairs committee.
