Boston Heart Party screenings
MGHers are invited to free screenings for cholesterol, blood pressure and glucose at the Boston Heart Party May 25, from 10 am to 2 pm under the Bulfinch Tent. Randy Zusman, MD, a leading cardiologist from the MGH Heart Center, will be speaking about stroke, heart attack, high blood pressure, cholesterol and diabetes and will answer questions from noon to 1 pm. Blood Donor Center summer hours
In response to blood donor requests, the MGH Blood Donor Center will be adjusting its hours for the summer months. From June 1 to Sept. 1, the center will be open from 7:30 am until 4:30 pm on Wednesdays, and will be closed on Mondays. The center will remain open Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm for blood donations. Hours for platelet donations are Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 am to 5 pm, Wednesdays from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, and Fridays from 8:30 am to 3 pm. For more information, call (617) 726-8177.

Women's health night
The MGH Community Health Associates will sponsor the fifth annual women's health night "Celebrating Women, Living a Vibrant, Healthy Life" May 25, from 5 to 8:30 pm at the Steriti Memorial Rink, 561 Commercial St. in the North End. This free event includes a light supper, raffles and information about women's health issues, nutrition, exercise, women's cancers, yoga, massage and more. For more information,

CRP seminar
The Clinical Research Program (CRP) and the Laboratory of Computer Science will offer "Using the Web-based Partners Research Patient Data Registry to Find Patient Cohorts for Clinical Research Studies" May 25, from 4 to 5 pm in the O'Keeffe Auditorium. EAP open house
Partners Employee Assistance Program (EAP) will host an open house May 24, from 2:30 to 5 pm, to celebrate their new location at 175 Cambridge St., suite 320. Tours of the new space will be given, and staff will be available to greet employees. Light refreshments will be served.

Free summer help available
The City of Boston's Summer Jobs program provides staffing support to MGH and Partners departments and meaningful part-time employment to Boston youth. This resource is available through two MGH Community Benefit youth employment
programs — SummerWorks and Jobs for Youth (J4Y). Each program is supported by an on-site program manager who works closely with participating departments and the student employees. For more information about SummerWorks, call (617) 724-6424. For more information about J4Y, call (617) 724-8326.

Senior health fitness class
MGH Senior HealthWISE and the Clubs at Charles River Park will offer group fitness classes for seniors 60 years and older who are new to exercise, re-entering a fitness program after rehabilitation or have certain chronic conditions. Classes begin June 6 at the Clubs. A trial class will be held June 1 at 2 pm. Pre-registration is required. To register or for more information, call (617) 726-2900.

Support Service Employee Grant program
Applications now are being accepted for the MGH Support Service Employee Grant Program. The grant is open to eligible non-exempt employees seeking to improve their skills.
